ULS draws its faculty from top medical, pharmacy, nursing and PA schools. Almost all faculty members are doctoral level teachers at these schools. Many have attained full professor or professor emeritus stature. In addition to their teaching skills, ULS criteria demands that our faculty are involved in patient care so all our speakers bring clinical experience to their lectures.

Dr. Gregory L. Holmquist, PharmD, CPE
Dr. Holmquist received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Washington in Seattle. He is a board certified Oncology Pharmacist, an American Medical Association Certified Educator for Physicians on Endof-Life Care, and an American Society of Pain Educators Certified Pain Educator (C.P.E.). Dr. Keedy is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Ambulatory Care at SJ/C Medical Group – Eisenhower. She is a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP) and holds a collaborative drug therapy management (CDTM) agreement. She is a member of ASHP, GSHP, and AACP and was selected as the GSHP Outstanding New Practitioner of the Year in 2020. Joseph Saseen is Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and a Professor of Family Medicine. He also served as Vice Chair of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy for 10 years.
